Moving Tips Disposal of or moveing liquids, paints, cleaning fluids, acids, aerosol cans and flammables should be done by property owner.

Drain fuel from mowers and/or machinery.

Check your furniture for existing damage prior to your move.

Move jewelry, small pieces of high value and pets yourself.

Know where all important documents and paperwork are located.

Put your television/vcr/stereo remote(s) where you can locate them after your move.

If doing your own packing, make sure to fill box to capacity with paper to avoid damage to items that may shift during your move.  Also, seal all boxes with packing tape.

Label boxes properly.  Example: master bedroom, kitchen, living room, den, garage, etc.

Do Not pack your checkbook!
